I cannot stop thinking that Lara Croft and Kurtis Trent are the sexiest couple in gaming history.
The new Tomb Raider game looks like an incredible game. But it doesn’t look like a Tomb Raider game and that stops me from getting excited about it.
The work put into researching the myths referenced in the Tomb Raider games will forever astound me. The way the story revolves around them is phenomenal.
Claire Redfield and Lara Croft are two female characters that I really identify with. I might not look like I’m very tough, but I am a straight shot and a badass.
I love Lara Croft, but I strongly dislike Lara Croft cosplayers. I feel like people that cosplay her do it for sex appeal. I see their little smirks and hip sways and do not see Lara Croft in them at all. Yes, she is sexy, but she doesn’t use her sex appeal to climb mountains, and fight off mercenaries. She uses her strength, courage, and mind to do what she loves. That is something cosplayers never embody.
My dad always liked video games. Especially Tomb Raider. Since I was really young, we bounded closely half because of the game. I would sit and watch him play and really enjoy talking with him about it. I miss those times now that I’m an adult and that I live on my own. I hope when the next tomb raider releases we can get that back.
