Saints Row increased the awesome in my life tenfold. I played the second game the summer of 2011, and I haven’t looked back. I love the plots, the boss, the idea, and I feel more attached to Pierce, Shaundi & Gat than I do to my real friends. The antagonists are amazing, and I’ve finished the Third game three times. It allows me to do everything I wanna do in real life, but can’t.
I’m so pumped about the fourth game, apparently already a work in progress!
I love the Saint’s Row franchise SOOO much more than the GTA franchise. Not because of short narratives, or graphics but the characters draw me in soo much more. I mean Shaundi, Pierce, and Gat all provide such an amazing experience that coupled with the devs little cracks at modern day society make the game so much worthwhile. I just wish the protagonist spoke more in the first one.
I grew up around violent gangs, and I thought they were stupid then, I think they’re stupid now, but after playing Saints Row the Third, I really want to be a saint.
