I think my favorite thing about The Legend of Zelda series is how awesome their storylines are. All of my Zelda games have had many replays because I feel like each time I play them I’m re-reading a favorite book or re-watching a favorite movie all over again. The difficulty of the games rarely has impressed me, but the stories and music will never get old and will never cease to bring joy to my soul, and that is why they will always be among my favorite video games.
I’ve never heard of the Legend of Zelda series until Twilight Princess was released for the Wii. My dad was baffled because he’s a huge fan of LoZ, but I only learned that after I bought the game.
I once bonded with a mysterious boy over Ocarina of Time. I saw him only twice in my life, both times while I was playing LOZ, but the second time he helped me through a particularly difficult part in the Fire Temple. Years later the boy’s father gave me his console, and although I never learned his name, and no longer remember his face, I will always keep his green N64 safe and sound with my own as thanks.
I’m probably not the only person to think this, but Legend of Zelda is my favorite game series. It has been there for me when I felt alone. I know the characters better than I know some of my own friends.
We Think Ezio and Link Were The Best Soulcalibur Guest Characters.
I still play Skyward Sword, but as a lefty, I was pretty put out that there was no lefty option. I know it is more work to do the animation both ways, but my favorite character since I was young because he was the only other lefty I knew, is now specifically right handed. I didn’t even get a chance to play with him left handed.
One time, I pretend i was sick, so i didn’t have to go to school and could play the legend of zelda: skyward sword.
When i played majoras mask for the first time and realized Romani gets abducted by the aliens if you dont do her mask quest i felt so bad i actually rode epona over there to apologize.. i felt terrible not being able to save her every 3 day cycle..
The only Zelda games I have ever beaten are the CDI games, which I only played because they’re awesomely horrible. The rest, I have fun with for a while, but eventually get bored of.
