I know a lot of people want HD remakes of Final Fantasy VII. But I think the should make a HD remake of Final Fantasy IX. It one of the greatest games story wise.

Final Fantasy IX gave me unrealistic hopes for the other games in the series. I’ve yet to find another one that I like as much as I love it. The closest I’ve come to it are XIII and X because of the sphere grid, crystarium, eidolons/aeons, and a few memorable characters (Fang and Auron).

My favorite memory is ducking down behind a pillow fort whenever my dad got into a fight in Final Fantasy 9. My child mind somehow worked out that if I wasn’t hiding, the ‘monsters’ would come out of the game and attack for real.

I have actually gotten death threats because I think Final Fantasy IX was the best of the series…Mostly by people who worship FFVII…
