I’m a new guy, so go easy on me people!
name’s Richard, most just call me Doc, yes Doc.
I’m looking forward to pushing out some amazing MGC’s for you all.

It might sound silly and overly sensitive to most people, but I refuse to play Dead Island simply for the fact that the official trailer was so gut-wretching and, in a surreal way, too personal. I’ve heard it’s a great game, but even if the trailer had no connections to the plot in any way other than the zombies, I wouldn’t be able to get the image of that father carrying his dying daughter out of my head.

It was playing Dead Island with friends that reconfirmed that, in case of an emergency, my friends would flee to my place. That is, if I hadn’t boarded up the windows and doors yet.

Dead Island gives me nightmares but I can’t stop playing. I need to finish it and find out how it ends.

Watching Desmond’s (azuritereaction’s) video play through and commentary of Dead Island completely killed my fear of zombies.

I wish I could play Dead Island as the Left 4 Dead characters. Though you never learn much about them, you find yourself emotionally involved right from the start whereas in Dead Island you don’t really care who you are playing as.

Dead Island is such a good game … but when people put it on the same level of Left 4 Dead, I get annoyed. It’s nothing like it, apart from the fact they both have zombies
