I cried during the credits of Phoenix Wright Trials and Tribulations because I knew that the original trilogy of my favorite video game series was over.
I truly believe that for everyone, there will be one particular game or game series, doesn’t matter what it is, but once they play it, their life will be influenced by it forever. That one game that you can play multiple times and never get bored of it. A game that can make you smile even on the most stressful and darkest of days. A game that just seems to “click” with you as a person. For me, I can personally say that the Ace Attorney series is that game.
After playing Ace Attorney, Professor Layton, Hotel Dusk, 999 etc. I’ve started to look around more, thinking from another perpective and so on.
Also, everything I do is a puzzle for me.
Mia and Maya remind me so much of my relationship with my sisters and how much they mean to me. Every time the ballad version of Turnabout Sisters is played in the game, I feel like crying.
I walked into Apollo Justice hating the fact the game existed. By the middle of the third case, I was a raving Gavinner fan. No matter how much I love Edgeworth, Klavier Gavin is quite possibly the best prosecutor that series has.
