Sometimes, especially in shoot-em-ups like Touhou and DoDonPachi, I feel terrible for being good at those games, especially when my close friends talk about how they can’t get past the 2nd or 3rd stage. It makes me feel incredibly awkward—to say nothing of what feelings I’d cause if I admitted to feats such as beating shmups on one credit.
