Why do people have to be so bitchy to confessions? First I see them snarking at someone who simply didn't want to appear "evil" in Skyrim, and then I see them totally misunderstanding a post about avoiding 3D affects. Oy, calm down!
People have opinions. Sometimes they differ from other people’s.
It’s normal. I wouldn’t look too much into it if I were you.
I have a problem and I don’t know if it’s fixable, so I was wondering if any of you know a solution/have had this problem.
So just a bit ago, I was going to play Pokemon XD because I hadn’t played it for a long while. I use my Wii for my Gamecube games now and have 3 memory cards that have all worked just swimmingly since I got the original Gamecube system in 2004.
Two of those cards are white and one of them is black. One of the white ones is the one that holds the data for Pokemon XD. So I go to play it but it won’t load the data, because apparently the data was “corrupted”. IDK how, I take good care of the things I own with exposed insides and this has never happened to me before.
I reset the system and game like twice and tried taking out and replacing the memory card but no dice. That card only has a few games on it, XD included, but I don’t know if any of the other save data work or not.
I googled and this is apparently a common problem for the white memory cards, but all the solutions I found involved either deleting the file(s) or getting another, more expensive memory card and doing a transfer tango. I don’t have money for an SD card or any other special memory card.
I would delete the file…except I can’t because back in the day when I played both XD and Colosseum regularly I did a lot of Pokemon transfer between those two games and my R/S/E games. And I can’t remember exactly, but I think my Sapphire team is on XD, so I can’t simply “delete the save data”. I was hoping that team was on Colosseum, but all I found there was my Ruby’s Groudon, which means my Sapphire team is on that XD file.
So, I need to know if there’s a way to access the file anyway. Or some way to cure it of corruption and not have to delete it or anything drastic like that. Would copying it over to one of my other Gamecube memory cards fix it or would that run the risk of corrupting files on that card or even the whole card itself?
Please, I don’t want to lose any of my Pokemon if they’re on that save data ;A;.
If you are one of my followers you probably saw the post I made earlier about politicians trying to put tobacco-like warning labels on E-rated video games stating ‘WARNING: Exposure to violent video games has been linked to aggressive behavior.’ If you have yet to see my post then check it out and see what politicians have to say about their proposed law.
If you are like me then you don’t believe video games are hazardous to your health or anyone else and want to do what you can stop this bill. All you have to do is send a letter to your representative. Now I know this is difficult because you have to figure out what to write, who to send it to, and so on. But the Entertainment Consumers Association is already on it and if you click the link above and enter your zipcode it will tell you who your rep is and have a letter written out for you. All you have to do is press send. It’s that easy to save video games.
Now if you’re feeling ambitious you are also free to write whatever you like and personalize the letter, which actually makes even more of an impact. But at the very least you should just click the link and send the letter. Let our politicians know that video games aren’t dangerous and that we won’t let them be destroyed by their slander.
Alright, because of reasons, there is a distinct possibility that come Friday I will likely not have enough coherency and ability to think properly and therefore won’t be able to make confessions for this entire weekend.
So in the event that is the case, I’ve gone and filled the queue with enough confessions for today, Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
They’re all confessions I had sitting at the top of my txt document, so they’re pretty old. Perhaps one of them is yours, if you haven’t seen it yet.
Since Mass Effect 3 hit store shelves earlier this month, it has been a source of controversy because of the series fan’s disappointment over the endings to the series. Some fans have even started a petition to have the ending of the game changed and today, Bioware responded with this…
Last off-topic post I’m reblogging on this subject. Just thought some of you would want to see it =).
For the record, last week you had a hissy fit because people were hating those who believe in shipping couples based on nothing practically (they would ship two guys or girls without knowing sexual orientation) but you posted a confession of someone who is disgusted by other people who are just as intolerant as the person leaving the confession. "if you can’t accept that people have different opinions to you within your fandom, you’re not a real fan." Two faced, don't worry I'm unfollowing.
So, you mean the confession was two-faced? Remember that people who submit to this blog aren’t all going to have the same opinions.
(P.S. Not sure I followed that one. It just looked like a wall of words to me…)
